digitalbucket.net delivers reliable, scalable and customizable on demand File Sharing and Collaboration platform and services for Individuals and Businesses to store and retrieve any type of data anytime anywhere on the web.

Our client

We provide a Windows client that connects to Digitalbucket.net and encrypts the files you store on their service. Files never leave your computer without being encrypted first with 256-bit encryption.

It's a full Windows client so it has tons of features. Here they are:

Drag-and-drop

Drag files from Explorer to automatically be encrypted and uploaded to the cloud.

Double-click to download, decrypt and edit files

Just like working on files from My Documents (except they're stored in the cloud and accessible instantly, anywhere), you can double-click to download, decrypt, and edit your files.

File management options, plus tagging & publishing

Simply right-click to access all the file management commands you're used to. Additionally, you can tag or publish files through the Digitalbucket.net service.

We've added a few hot keys as well:

  • Press Enter to enter folders or download files
  • Press d or Delete to delete files or folders
  • Press Ctrl+x to cut files or folders
  • Press Ctrl+v to paste files or folders
  • Press Ctrl+r to jump to the Root Folder of the account

Tagging is a powerful feature that allows you to tag files and folders. Use the Get all tags action to list your tags. You can double-click tags to find the files or folders the tags refer to.

Get The Client

1. You'll need a Digitalbucket.net account. You can sign-up for one here.

2. Get the encryption client. There is nothing to install. Just download the dbnet.exe executable, and run it. (Requires .NET Framework 2.0 or better.)
